There is a link to manually download Opera Mini on the bottom of the Opera Mini page in WP Store and it (the link) seems to be working.

Opera Mini Browser had been in beta since its release back in September. Over the next three months, the Opera Mini team released numerous updates to the app to improve the experience continually. The last update, however, was at the beginning of December. Now, the app is now longer published (Store link).

On January 26, the Opera Twitter account did re-affirm their support for Windows Phone when responding to various customers, including:

" Hey. We are working on improving Opera Mini for Windows Phone. Stay tuned :)"

We should caution that neither company has publicly commented on the app removal, unlike Chase and Bank of America. This leaves some room for publishing errors, plans for beta update status to full release or more. On the other hand, Windows Phone users have seen a rash of app removals lately, like Urbanspoon, lending credence to the purposeful removal theory.

We will update this story as new information becomes available.

would like to know it is 2 months now when beta version will be upgraded in windows and 6 months whne final product will be out as now we assume in 6 months new product should have been ready we are happy we have opera for windows bit when we will get new product and final version pl confirm

I am a new WP user with a nokia 930.
In the past I had a symbian N8. I use opera Mini to download streaming audio and listen to it offline on my N8 using a music player. On a WP this is not possible. Opera mini on WP only saves the data in it's own memory that is not accessible with the ms 'files' app. In the next version of mini please provide a possibility to save downloaded data to a directory that is accessible with the ms 'files' app. Thanks

I'm running Opera Mini version 7.6.8 on WP 8.10.14203.306 and it works great for the most part. I tries syncing it with my surface today which I have Opera 28.0 on and it doesn't seem to work. I get a message on my phone that states that synchronization completed, but I don't have any bookmarks or speed dial shortcuts. Is this feature functioning?

Those two products (Mini and Opera 28) use two different methods to sync items - Link vs Sync. You won't succeed syncing anything between WP and the rest of new wave of Opera products until we'll release a Sync update on WP.

Hi developers,

thanks for the new metro styled opera mini.i like the UI, it a lot better than previous version.
in this version there are some missing feature:-

#no support for RSS feeds

#No power scrolling option

while typing in address bar ".com" is not appearing in keyboard

while scrolling in a webpage up and down,sometimes pictures and other elements in webpage fade into dark

No landscape support

I know it still in beta, keep developing.thanks

another problem now in the new update of Opera Mini Beta is can't connect in the internet using data connections that provide here in the philippines.

come on before this appalling update operamini worked fine on my lumia 630 at least give back previous version whilst this is developed properly

welll it is almost 1 month so when we should expect opera mini for windows with book marks and other feature enabled would be grateful if opera team update us without book mark we have no use of opera with functions disable

it appears we have to wait ages for getting working opera mini for windows
