Back when I was using Opera 12 I really liked the feature to sync the bookmarks. After I switched to the new Chrome Based Version I couldn't sync them into Opera itself but at least I could open them on the webpage. Now that the sync feature is back I neither don't seem to be able to access my old bookmarks under my account on the webpage nor are my old bookmarks synced back to Opera. Where are they and how can I access them? I remember that the Webpage with all my saved bookmarks said "Don't worry your bookmarks are safe" but where are they now?

MyOpera was shutdown about a year ago. Link is still there though, link.opera.com. Does that help?

Ok thanks, that helps. But there is no way to import them back to opera?

Directly from Link, nope. If you have Opera 12.17 you can export the bookmarks as a html file and then import it to Opera 28.

Not directly, no. The old system was abandoned in favor of Sync, which is a better way to go about this stuff since you don't need to muck about with a web interface. You log int and it just works. That said its easy enough to open your bookmarks in your browser and then then bookmark them.

There is a wonky workaround if you use the dev build (currently 29). You can open all of those bookmarks, right click your tab bar and add them to a speed dial folder and then use your bookmarks manager to move the folder into your normal bookmarks.
