"Bad" font rendering after upgrading to ver. 28

The font on the right contains serifs (the little bumps and curlies on the end of each stroke for each letter), whereas the one on the left is san-serif (without serifs). That indicates a completely different named font is being pulled up for the display on the right compared with the one on the left. I'm not sure why that would be, however.

I have a similar issue, screenshot provided, clearly makes the browser unusable. http://imgur.com/hggcWxF

Similar problem here, all chars went italic (bended).
I didn't mess with my settings or touch anything, all happen after the auto-update. -

No, Not really, And i guess it's a chrome 41 thing not just Opera, Because i tried other chromium based browsers (SRWare Iron and Google Chrome) and it have the same issue too.

In Chrome, you should be able to set the default font. See: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95416?hl=en

Not sure what you guys try to show here, But i mentioned earlier that i tried changing fonts and encoding settings and it didn't work, It's like it has nothing to do with it..

Update: I was able to fix this issue with some app/tool called "Windows 8 Font Changer", It changes font for caption, menus, etc.. So i picked a different font which is "Ubuntu" (I think "Calibri" or "Segoe UI" would work too) and now it looks as good as it used to be!
