I'm using Opera 27 - I think it updated itself on its own or disabled an extension or something - because I HAD a menu bar with the old menu, edit, file, view etc. and it vanished today.
Yes: I know it's kickin' it old skool. I get it; but it works for me as menu still exists in other programs so it's a natural brain thing. I know Opera has nixed menu toolbar, but can anyone point me to a CURRENT add-on or extension or anything to get back those buttons or whatever you want to call them via a toolbar above or below my tabs and search window?
THANKS and PLEASE let's NOT get lost in "why are you using that" "you don't need that" etc. Let's just let me be who I am and be glad I respect the community and ask for HELP!!!

Open up your extensions page (Ctrl+Shift+E) and see if the extension is still installed and just disabled.

There is no menu bar in Google Chrome and in its derivatives.
Vivaldi browser is the only exception.
