Opera will not load

I don't know what to do...
I started using Mozilla because I am no longer able to use Opera. Every time I click and open Opera, the program appears to open and the tabs from an old session appear to be loading, but the loading stalls out there and I am not able to do anything with the browser except right-click on the taskbar and force close. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled with the same result. I can't check which version I have because the browser will not allow me to do anything except close. I am running windows 7 (64 bit). I am also running Malwarebytes and Kaspersky Internet Security.
I appreciate any help you might be able to offer.

What version was it before? Was it an automated upgrade?
You can right-click on the Opera icon on your desktop or wherever it is and choose "Properties", then click the "Find object" button there: you're supposed to get a folder opened with a file highlighted - that must be the launcher file, right-click on it and look for the "File version" item.

Find your sessions.db file and delete it. It should be located in a directory that look something like this: C:\Users\youraccoutname\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable Did that fix it?

I deleted the session.db file...Now my tabs are gone, but the about:blank tab shows Loading...and the browser sits

Yes, I did try reinstalling. I followed the link and tried that...didn't help either...?
