Hello All,
I'm happy to announce that today we have released Opera 26 final version, you may recognize that most of the things from beta channel got to final, but sadly Sync didn't. Here's what we have new for you:
- Title edit function for saved pages
- Redesigned Opera Menu
- Improved support for RTL languages
- Improved bookmark feature
- Chromium version update to 39
- Various stability and usability improvements
The update is available now on Google Play and will be available shortly on our download servers.
Take care!

I'm pretty sure that removing back button functionality will not affect any of the things that you mentioned.

You should probably add a prompt asking for comfirmation when a user taps the new 'quit'-button in the menu. The first thing I did after the update was to accidentally kill the browser and as a result I lost 50 tabs.

Thanks
Just to know, why don't Mobile Team announce new betas in their blog like Desktop Team does?

Opera's video player still doesn't obey the user's choice for Auto-rotate. For example: go into Android's Settings>>Display and un-check "Auto-rotate screen" then play a video in Opera Mobile in which the video will STILL rotate as if the "Auto-rotate screen" option was still checked. Opera Mobile hasn't respected this option since version 24.
Otherwise, it is the perfect browser for me.

They already do that...sometimes. They recently just made a new post about a new Opera for Android beta being available in Google Play... Except it hasn't appeared in Google Play yet, the Opera for Android 26 beta 1 is still the latest Opera for Android beta listed in Google Play. <.<
Mobile Team also made the announcement of a Opera Mini 8 for Android beta, but that has to be discussed over in the Opera Mini board, not here.

After last update i had many problems.. Freezes with minutes.. Auto-restar my phone on some pages.. And that ups something get wrong is more often.. Beta 26 is more stable than this final 26
So i get sad and angry so i uninitialised opera 26 and go waay back to opera 12 mobile (classic) with Presto and wooow is soo good fast multi tab works with out auto-reloading.. I open 10 tabs and work with all fast and no Freezes no lag .. Jelly bean version dont suport flash some videos vork on html some have option to open mobile player and works beter with mobile player than default player on opera 26.. There is no option html video to open on full screen but you cen zoom with fingers .. I also have no problem with message viber pop-out when i use opera classic.. And text warp work faster than opera 26.. And the one of the best thing is i can choose where i want to download file and there is no much ads and auto downloading apk files from ads
Too bad opera didnt stay with Presto and develop update for that. -

I have to reload all the time to get to the page over that yellow cat, can't you add gesture to reload on that yellow cat page. Version 25 worked better than this one, i will go with 25 than if i find it anywhere. I use 4.2.2 on phone.
