The explanation for your problem is written in the errors on the page "This webpage was blocked by an extension" and "A third party extension has blocked access to this webpage" and an answer to your problem is also provided "Disable your extensions and reload this webpage".

Go to 'Menu / Extensions' and disable all your extensions and reload the affected page.

FYI, the latest Opera versions employ multiple processes - 1 for each open tab plus 1 for each extension. So having "7 opera's open" in Task Manager is not at all unusual.

What @linuxmint7 suggested is the way to start troubleshooting... kill the Opera extensions and see what happens. (Also: without JavaScript enabled, the site page should still display the forum posts, but with no background image, plus some of the on-page functions may not work.)

            thanks Black,LM7

i got some nasty adware on my system causing the webpage crap.

anyway i very pleased with Opera, been useing Firefox for over 6 years but think opera is my favorite now.
feels a lot more flashy then firefox.

only thing that can use some improvement is getting more easy access to bookmarks.
and the start page need to be made like a Home Icon.

also i take you can't add Extensions from Firefox?

Yep, not possible. FF uses a different engine and extensions system.

Netscape type plug-ins (NPAPI) as used by Firefox will work on Opera, at least so far. If you have any FF plug-ins still installed, you should see them in Opera as well. Under opera://settings, scroll to the bottom and check "Show advanced settings" and "Always show power user settings". This will make them visible under "Developer Tools".

I forgot to mention "Extensions" are different in Opera and FF; only plug-ins are compatible.

To see plugins option in O-menu, go to O-menu > tools > enable developers tools.
