I need to install it on my new laptop so I can get all my bookmarks, passwrds, tabs, etc. the same as on my PC setup before I can downgrade to Opera 26. Any real help would be appreciated. Snarky replies/comments can be possted to /dev/null. 🙂
      Thanks.

Why is he talking about /dev/null in the Windows forum ...?

In the event you want other platforms, those are also on the FTP site.

Think of it in terms of unix-oriented 1337speak for discarding whatever comments are in the category he describes as "snarky". Technically, it's a 'device' file that dumps whatever's written to it, but which reports the write-op as successful.

You cant downgrade BETA or DEV (higher versions) to 26 STABLE! Some databases are not compatible.

But you can use this snippet:

              if -x `opera-beta` or -x `opera-developer`; then cp brain /dev/random; reboot; fi
