Firewall keeps blocking Opera from updating

Hi,

I've got an annoying issue. I got to update opera manuelly because opera keeps changing the directory of opera_autoupdate.exe after each update. Is there a way to make opera using the same folder instead of creating a new one each updatE?

Change the monitored folder to the Opera root folder (the folder that contains all the Opera installations), not the individual version folders. They are meant to be like that, so that Opera or a user can roll back to a previous version if something should go wrong.

And so that they can be installed in the background - while Opera is running.

Thank you i already had the same ideal. But the problem is i can't whitelist folders, only executables. Which is pretty annoying.

Strange Desktopfirewall, what program does not have the featire to exclude folders?

All i use is Tinwall which basically is juts a UI for the windows 7 firewall

And it doesn't support wildcards? You know, C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera*\opera_autoupdate.exe ...

No Windows firewall has no rules for wildcard filenames.
