prevent creating a histroy in Opera 26

Hi there,

in Opera 26, I do not find an option that prevents opera from creating a history! In previous versions, one was able to specify the number of URLs that become stored. Setting it to zero implies not storing any history. Where is such an option in Opera 26?

There isn't any. You may try to set the history files as read-only.

Or you can use private windows.

That's what private windows are for. I wouldn't recommend setting readonly properties. That could have unforeseeable consequences.
