For me,lately,Opera 25 has ads poppin g up on Every Single Page I click on.While Opera 12.17 has NONE.

If you don't want or need 12.17 just remove it then you will not accidently open the wrong version.

I don`t need it. I just upgraded to the newer version and I thought That it will overwirght the previous one!

Between Opera 12 and Opera 15 we choose not auto upgrade everyone. Additionally, even when installed manually we didn't remove the old version.

This was done because we appreciate the changes are significant.

The overwhelming majority of our users have switched to newer versions. There is no reason to keep 12 around if you don't feel you need it any longer.

Thanks I have uninstalled the old one. And I have also figured out the reason that the old version was opening. I open opera by clicking on the quick launch icon. And that one was the old version`s one.
