Why Does OWA Load Light Version?

Why does Outlook Web Access load the full featured Web App with Chrome but still only load the "Light" version with Opera.
I thought using the Webkit/Blink engine would fix this.

You are right.

I tried out this extension (https://addons.opera.com/en-gb/extensions/details/user-agent-switcher) and set it to Chrome on Windows and I got the full site.

I couldn't find a way to change the User Agent in Opera (ideally site specific) without an addon though. Is this one more thing missing from Opera 12?

It's not possible.

Btw, better than change Opera's user agent is to ask OWA's page's admin to remove the browser sniffing.
