25.0.1614.50 on Win7
help folks, since the update this morning I can't ALT+TAB out of a fullscreen (flash)-video to my Opera, as Opera is "gone".
Where can I chance the settings that I have my Opera still in the background running while having a video (e.g. YouTube) running in fullscreen in the background? If I click the Opera logo in the task-bar, it apparently opens new tabs in the still running Opera, but I can't switch to it.
Is there a 'flag' setting I have to change, or I may have changed that causes this? Thanks in advance

Try opening the video on a new window. Or open a new Opera window to browse.
And btw, please don't bump threads that early. That is a very tedious and apparently unnecessary work-around for an issue that never existed before. Or is there any gain in preventing me from using Opera while having a video running in fullscreen, that I don not see?
P.S.: sorry for bump.

Hello!
Would you mind, please, describing your exact sequence of what you do to "achieve" this effect (and make the description of the 'result' more clear)?
Don't forget if it happens only with - YouTube, you say? - or maybe you got similar issues with other videoservices? -

Case1: Hoster Movshare
- I open the link with the embeded video player. Letting the movie start.
- Clicking of fullscreen, watching.
- ALT+TAB, to switch back to browser while the video stays playing fullscreen in the background.
- switching to Browser or other open program doing my work. In my taskbar I can now easily switch between other programs and the movie
This is how it should be, and always been.
Case2: Youtube
- I open the link with the embeded video player. Letting the movie start.
- Clicking of fullscreen, watching.
- ALT+TAB, to switch back to browser while the video stays playing fullscreen in the background.
- I can NOT switch to Browser as Opera is gone. Switching to other programs works, the video stays playing in the background.

If I click on the Opera O in the taskbar, NO new window is opened. If I close the fullscreen video, I can see that a new 'speed-dail' tab was opened everytime I clicked the O
This is NOT how it should be, and I only experience this since the update to Version 25.
I have to try out other video hosting services, but these two both use "flash player" and work completely different now.
Can I assist any further? -

ok, the layout of my post got completely hacked up. I looked way nicer as I posted it here. Sorry for that.

As a gentleman, I'd say "screwed up";)
If you want to make a list, the whole of it must be both preceeded and followed by an empty line (twice "enter").You sure the plugins the same in both cases?
Just the same?Next time ("I have to try out other video hosting services...") you do what?
Open your task manager - even before starting the video(s) (or even before opening the pages) - and, without going full screen yet, thoroughly enquire which processes emerge/go active. Maybe there are differences? -

Done as asked, but I have to say, as every process is named alike. I can't tell what happening.
So here the task-manager and what is happening browser-vise.

I was just hoping (guessing - if there are either different plugins or additional plugins in some cases).
Did you indeed load a YouTube page at the same tab immediately next to another videopage - when the video was running/activated? I do not do such things myself - cause processes may overlap in time and mess your system performance, even causing trouble sometimes. I usually stop the current video, load something else, or go back to the previous non-video page, or close the tab, only then I hit another videopage.
I do not even run two mediaplayers on my system at any moment - at least I stop the playback in one of them before opening or activating another.
Can it be related in your case? And by the way, when it happens - did you try checking the left, first tab in your task manager to find out if your Opera is still there?
If it is, you could try hitting "show in foreground" -

It probably can.
It happened to me a coupl'a times when another application prompted itself when watching video from a tab in fullscreen. Then I saw a normal browser window and.. er.. I'm not sure where the video was... :o -

Hi, as I see there have been some updates to Opera 25 so far.
Can someone confirm that my mentioned bugs are remedied?I am a bit scared in updating now, after the 24 -> 25 update fiasco
fiasco in terms of "I have to use basic IE to browse some sites now"

I'm thinking of changing too with this Fullscreen not working properly problem. They need to fix this ASAP, I'm also getting slow motion in Opera with Flash where on the other browsers it's FINE.

I have a problem with opera 25 and flash ( new to update ), youtube is ok but it is loading much slower than in firefox, but soundcolud - impossible, it says : ' It looks like you have a Flash blocker browser setting or extension. Please enable Flash to hear this track.' ( but in opera settings everything is ok )

Do you have Turbo enabled by chance?
Btw, this issue doesn't seem to be related to the one reported in this thread.
