      Make sure it is dry, then make sure it is recharged. After that ...?

        It was half-charged! And it doesn't seem wet...

        About the Chrome issue - what if I get a 26dev - can I actually import from this Chrome certain stuff? 😕 For example - bookmarks I guess all right -- but what about extentions? 😕
        Even more -- can it merely adopt everything from a present Chrome??

          Take the battery out (if possible) and dry all accessible parts (including battery) with a dry cloth and reinsert the battery into the phone, power/switch it on.

          Or remove battery (if possible) and leave to dry naturally (away from direct heat) for at lease 24 hours. Once at lease 24 hours have passed, insert battery and power/switch on.

          If you still get nothing after doing the two procedures above (once the phone and battery are dry), connect the charger and charge the battery.

          If you still get on response from the phone after being connected to the charger for a certain amount of time (say a couple of hours) there maybe a fault with the battery (maybe a new one is needed) or the phone is well and truly dead. :rip:

            Yeah... :spock:
            24 hours, huh? O'k... :wait:

            I hate that I'll need to reboot my comp tomorrow morning again. And I'll have to deal with this Chrome somehow! ;_;

              Well, I guess there can be another culprit. Namely RealPlayer...
              Today morning I started my Google Chrome, and a stream in my RealPlayer; then I just managed to... Two things: 1) the browser wasn't kept running for long, 2) I stopped the playback before closing Chrome (not exited the player - just stopped the playing).

                        Opera 11.63, I use a certain mailing service - open it every time I start the browser.
                        And of late there's started showing a BS announcement/"proposition" at the top coloured with my browser's custom skin colour:

                        Opera is cited as a mail client.
                        Use blablabla [that page's URL] as a mail client?

                        And three "options" on the right of that BS: "Allow", "Never", and "× Done" (the last is within a single button - so I can't hit either "cancel" ("×") or "Done" separately).

                        What should I do?
                        I've already hit that "×" several times, it hid - but it keeps popping up again after a short time, and it annoys me 😕
                        There's no "right-clicking" in that area, nor any help/info getting found in the settings... I wouldn't like to hit "Allow" - I'm absolutely unaware of the consequences, not willing to hit "Never" either (yet) - cause I've no idea should I regret it later...

                        What is this shit anyway?
                        I've never ever used any "clients" before, with an exception of one on a cellphone...

                          @joshl, From what you have said, and the description you have given, I would personally click 'Never'. Because in my opinion, that option tells me that I am letting it/them know that I do not wish to use that other (blablabla) client that they are offering me, and to not bother be ever again.

                          But that just my take on things, going by your description.

                            It's not other client.
                            First, it's that same site/page/service. I wouldn't mind to do something in terms of using it somehow... though I'm using it already not having any trouble nor clients;)
                            Would you guess it's Opera (the browser) that wants something to me?

                              Ah, I think I now understand joshl, it looks like your mail provider has updated the mail view (page) for the mail service they offer you, and are asking you if you wish to use this new view (page). It sounds a lot like what Yahoo did quite a few years ago with their on-line mail viewer, asking people to try the new version of their mail page. But I and a lot of other users found it very slow, and went back to the old one pretty swiftly.

                              Sorry joshl, I don't know any more than that (unless someone else can shed some light on which option is best for Opera 11.63), otherwise the choice is up to you.

                              Oh btw, I don't use Yahoo any more, as the service was rubbish and too limited and bossy for their free account.

                                I don't think the "blablabla".mail service has something to do with that:

                                1. the "proposition" is in Russian, not that site's language I set;
                                2. the "pop-up" is coloured with my CUSTOM browser skin colour(!!!) and NEVER ever responds to right-clicking (if it were part of the site - it WOULD!).
                                  Am I right?

                                      I tell that because I just started to unlike it. Please can somebody advise me about what services I should consider to move to?
