File associations?

How do I set file associations in Opera 24?

I can't find it anywhere. It used to be so easy.

Not possible AFAIK, it just follows the associations set in the operating system.

But the file is correctly set in Windows, but Opera does not open the program.

If I download the file and open it the right program opens.

You can't open a file directly on Opera Blink, you need to download it and open from the download list.

Or do you mean you can't open the file from there?

I can download and open it, sure, but why the hassle?

It's just a temporary link - often I need two or three at a time, and they are generated on the fly and named the same.
