Random Bugs to fix

And fresh submits now - instead of occurring somewhere next to the OP - don't occur anywhere.
We're hoping to have this fixed now.
Update: When i posted this comment, the page reloaded automatically (as it should) and showed my new comment.

The submit now appeared instantly, though...
I assume that one being of the highest priority, then fixing the major editing tools.
The workability of the smilies, I think, can wait :wait: -

With this latest forum update you broke all my earlier quotes.
Formatting used to allow me to not include two line breaks after the > line and display the quoted text and my reply separated just fine. Now it requires two line breaks = in all my previous posts where I quote somebody my reply is mixed into the gray/italics quote format. Analyze the examples below:
With 1 line break like I used to do:
Original text being quoted.
What I actually replied is here mixed. With the new imposed line breaks for quoting to work properly:
Original text being quoted.
What I actually replied ok - in regular font -, because I added two line breaks.
A forum changing the way formatting works and that affecting all the previous posts breaking them is not expected at all right? Please take a look into this issue.

I believe this is due to a new version of Vanilla Forum's text parser, HtmlLawed, which came with a recent security release. We can have a look, but in general we use what Vanilla Forums provide for these things.

So, while the "missing submit" bug is now not appearing...
Now let me test some smilies:
:awww: :bandit: :beard: O.O :bye: 3:-O ;_;   :dragonfly: :drunk:  :faint: X/  \m/ :hi: -

Now let me test some smilies:
:jester: :king:The not being working, I highlighted the stuff from my post above and hit quote - it wasn't been quoted, I added it here "manually".
Some other smilies weren't working either: << and >> .Steve, about "XP": not to render it as a smilie, one can enclose it within the code elements - heed the markdown: "
XP
". Let me try the word without those "backmarks":XP
Yes, and those :left: and :right: are shown here in this post without the underscores ("_").

As my above latest post appeared on a new page, I decided to quote my previous post for the sake of reference.
There were no smilies quoted - except for the not working . But you see it appear in the quote? It was the following code: "<3
"; so I guess it's rendered somehow incorrectly. And another thing. After that editing (inserting that quote), I decided to see what this new post (with the quoted <3) looks like in code, and hit the "options" button as if to edit again (it was enough time to do so yet) - there was no reaction, no drop-menu appeared: means the current interface wasn't fully functional.

I'm just glad that the forum smilies are finally back again, although they do seem to be in a rather random order in the menu.
For instance, I would like to be first in the list as it's probably the most commonly used one, not somewhere near the bottom!

It's not a bug, though.
I guess when we cope with the already mentioned inconsistencies, I'll start (or continue) some discussion about "orders and codes" (like in my "The MyOpera Smilies" thread). Now to the business:
:knight: XP <<  X( :(|) :S :ninja: :norris: :o  :pirate: :psmurf: :pssst: :queen: >> :rip:  :scared: :sherlock: :sing: :smurf: :spock: :troll: :wait:  :wizard: :|  :yuck: :zip:Is it ??? I wouldn't insists on that - if I were shocked.
(Was there a true:shocked:
smilie? Huh? Wrong something?)Well, save that "shocked" alien, we have three codes not working, and one more that definitely needs attention - XP .
You'll say that the operation system is on its way to :rip:? Nah, I don't think it's any justification for not being able to use normal typing in the case. (For now, I've advised to enclose the word within coding "backmarks" (or what are they called?): like this - "XP
" (```).) -

@digmed.
I couldn't see any "new" icon on the thread for this reply of yours. -

After perhaps clearing up some spam, there happen a bit of a mess in a board...
And tell me, what are the accounts like this one: http://forums.opera.com/user/webbypride
They have posts submitted - heed the data... -

- The quoting button in my Firefox 3.6.6 is still working as a "bookmark-link" (see HTML Tutorial).
- The typing/edit box is still squeezed in Firefox.
- After removing some spam, it happens that wrong titles/names are shown on boards and stuff, and/or maybe an order mess too...
- Maybe not a bug proper, but while it seems that the quote button doesn't quote smilies and stuff, when I copy such a post/reply, it then pastes with the smilie(s) (in Firefox).

There are some users/accounts whose postcount shows weird figures.
Like this guy, for instance, whose posts' actual number is much more than one. Also, from the "Overview" page, I can see my reply as if being the last in that thread - while it's actually his being such.
And some other mess - like on this board - again. -

In "Suggestion box" it's a certain mess again: the "top" thread shown as such on the main page ("Overview") is actually quite deep down.
What's up? It's becoming usual. Which is not nice. -

What's up? It's becoming usual. Which is not nice.It happens when a topic/thread is set to "sink". On "Overview" it correctly appears as the topic with the last reply but it will not be on the top because of the "sink" state.
