Pin opera (portable instalation) to taskbar & update...

Hi,
I pin Opera to the taskbar in order to launch it easily when i need it.
But at each update, the shorcut is no longer valid:Example:
I use Opera 24.0.1537 the pinned shorcut links to .../24.0.1537.0/opera.exe
After update to 24.0.1543.0, the pinned shortcut doesn't link the last version. So I try to pin the launcher.exe (it might be updated but the path is still the same). In this case, i got a pinned shortcut and an opera item.
Is there a way to get only one entry in the taskbar that keep working after an update ?
If not, is this in a TODO list of features to fix/develop ? -

You need to pin the launcher.exe (found in the root of the Opera folder) to the task bar, not the Opera.exe found in the individual folders inside. As obviously their location changes with every update, because a new folder is created for the new (updated) version and the oldest one's folder is removed.

I already try that, but there is two opera entries instead of just one in the taskbar... is there a better solution ?

Unpin all.
Run Opera, then right-click its task bar entry and select pin.

rafaelluik: Already did that at first. this won't work after update.
linuxmint7: Launcher is not opera webbrowser, but a launcher. So once Opera browser is started, it closes. So 1 pinnend unopen entry for launcher, and 1 unpinned open entry for Opera.

i did the same thing with Opera 23 and faced the same issue with each update... i unpinned it and pinned launcher.exe from the installation folder... did you notice that newer opera (when pinned to taksbar) does not expand from the pinned icon... instead it takes up (wastes) remaining space on the taskbar???
