Opera Mail setting as default

Does anyone know how to set opera mail as the default in Windows 8.1. Opera mail does not appear in 'choose an application'?
If you have a solution then I would be grateful if you could supply it in simple steps. -

Many thanks but I have been there. Problem is that Opera Mail does not appear in the list for either choose application or protocol.

Thanks leocg. It works. Used the http://shadow2531.com/opera/m2/make_m2_default_client.zip and it all worked. Thought I'd have a problem having original program and all mail and labels etc in AppData and the new one in C/program files x86, but the new one picked everything up and just had to replace Icons from desk top and taskbar. Thanks to Burnout for the files.
