Flash doesn't work.

I have IE, Chrome, Firefox and Opera installed and I use them all frequently. Flash works just fine in the first two, but in Firefox and Opera I get either a black, white, or green box along with the audio on YouTube.
I've tried uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling Flash - but the problem remains.
Windows 7 Professional
Intel laptop with AMD Radeon graphics built into the motherboard.
I would appreciate any help to resolve this.

Did you go to the Adobe flash site in the Opera browser, and reinstall flash from it?

It definitely appears to be a flash problem, as Firefox and Opera use the exact same plug-in compared to IE which uses an Active X base plug-in and Chrome has it own built-in Flash plug-in.

you do know that there are separate installers for Flash that targets IR/activeX and plugin-based browsers......
