Opera Sync asks for an unknown passphrase after Windows reinstall – 37 passwords inaccessible

Hello,
I recently performed a clean installation of Windows 11 and reinstalled Opera.
Before reinstalling Windows, I checked Opera Sync and confirmed that my data had been successfully synchronized.
After reinstalling Opera and signing into the same account, Opera started asking me for an encryption passphrase that I have never knowingly created.
I tried my Opera account password, but Opera says "Incorrect passphrase."
My synchronized data is still visible at sync.opera.com:
- 37 saved passwords
- 63 Speed Dial entries
- 11 bookmarks
- 17 open tabs
- 90 history entries
- 47 preferences
I no longer have access to the previous Windows installation, and my other devices do not contain these saved passwords or bookmarks.
Recovering my 37 saved passwords is especially important to me.
I do not want to use "Reset Passphrase" because I am concerned that it will permanently delete my synchronized data.
Could someone from Opera please clarify:
- Why am I being asked for a passphrase when I never knowingly configured one?
- Is there any way to recover my 37 saved passwords without the passphrase?
- Can Opera Sync data be recovered or decrypted using my Opera account credentials or another verification method?
- Is there a way to recover my bookmarks and Speed Dial entries separately if the passwords cannot be restored?
I would appreciate any assistance or alternative recovery methods before resetting anything.
Thank you.

@Kirillio On sync.opera.com, all your data is encrypted, or it's just the passwords?

@leocg Hello! On sync.opera.com, I can still see that my account contains 37 saved passwords, 63 Speed Dial entries, 11 bookmarks, and other synchronized data.
However, after reinstalling Windows, Opera asks me for an encryption passphrase that I do not remember ever setting. My Opera account password does not work.
I haven't confirmed whether all the data is encrypted or only the passwords. Is there a way to check this without resetting or deleting any synchronized data?
Thank you!

@Kirillio Yes, like I said, go to https://www.sync.opera.com/ and look at the content. If only the passwords section shows the padlock, them only your passwords are encrypted.
