Memory Used 55mb !

Hi
I just downloaded Opera for Android and it immediately showed memory usage of 55MB in Main settings of My Asus Transformer TF101. I was thinking it must have something to do with the fact that I already have been using Opera Beta and Opera Labs with Extension for years now.

It's not the UI, it's the engine.
It's based on Chromium, so it weights just as much as Chrome. -

The animations do NOT weight in storage space, the updated Chromium engine is what occupy the storage (of course it won't be removed).

how about give smart engine? He will turn off when not browsing. Will be nice when opera will give features who will decrease ram usage and improve battery life.

Removing apps from RAM doesn't improve battery life (the effect could be the opposite as the apps would have to be reloaded everytime they're launched, wasting battery). Android manages RAM. Android will take Opera out of RAM if/when it needs the space.
