Burnout426 made fix but it did not work for me
And i asked chat gpt to instead of fixing problems in existing extension
Create one with same functionality that will work in new opera
If you want icons and stuff just give this zip to chat gpt and tell it about classic tabs

Look into Burnout426 link for readme file to learn how to install both
I would 1st try Burnout426 extension and if his don't work for you then try this one

@ZeroX4 Great job! ChatGPT rewrote the entire code to comply with Manifest v3. That's awesome. I added some lines to make the icons display. The archive contains a folder with the icons and the manifest file itself. Copy them into the folder with the extension and replace the existing files. Update the extension.

                    @pavel13 You're welcome))
Another thing I’d like to point out is that this updated extension works perfectly and without errors on the finicky OperaGX, which has features built into its browser engine (Blink)—such as GX Control, GX Profiles, specific interface rendering, process isolators, interceptors, and so on (which can cause issues even if they’re disabled).

Ok so that version below which chat gpt made for me
                      Was buggy
I asked claude to make one instead and this time i did ask for recreating it 1 to 1 so this one uses same icons and stuff
                      And seems to work better

                      https://drive.google.com/file/d/19j6krQOaNzf1EzaIIIJZyrnzkUtUQovv/view?usp=sharing

                      Step by step installation
1 - paste this into address bar and hit enter
                      opera://extensions

2 - toggle ON developer mode
3 - extract zip into some folder
                      3 - click load unpacked
4 - go to that folder to which you just extracted zip to where manifest.json is
In file browser you will just see 3 folders
                      _locales
                      images
                      styles
                      And choose that folder

                      5 - enjoy <('.'< )

But i made version with claude and seems it works better
And uses original icons and stuff
                        If you can improve it
Then go ahead and paste comment with it

@ZeroX4 Well, there’s nothing more to add here—everything is perfect. Unless, of course, someone wants to create their own localization. Just replace the text in the messages.json file and update the FAQ in the options.html file (change the character encoding if necessary)—that’s it.
P.S. Actually, the previous version worked fine for me too; I didn’t see any errors or glitches (OperaGX 136.0.6008.76).
                          Thank you so much! 🤝

@meiso-op: THX above there is claude version with everything recreated 1 to 1 at least that is what i asked claude to do. And seems it works perfectly fine. If you can improve it in any way i am all in for it

                                    @AMHEREFROMLGIO1994
Windows by default should be able to extract zip
Which is just double clicking file it should open like some kind of folder
And now you can just drag and drop files to your desktop for example

If for some reason yours don't
Then here is video how to do it
                                    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zl-Vl9iQo0

And here is video how to do it if you download and install 7zip

                                    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxFM0AQ68yg

Where you could either just google how to extract zip file

Or just ask chat gpt or claude or gemini how to do it

In nutshell zip file is like box
                                    It contains something
In this case in pc world we are putting folders and/or files into one zip so into one box
And now same as for example your sandwich that is in that box
You would not be able to eat it unless you take it out of the box
Same way you are unable to do anything with filess that are zipped

In both cases you need to take out what is inside zip/box
                                    Which we call extracting
Which also is nothing else as you would go into folder and just copy files there then paste them to other folder
Or drag them from open folder to wherever you want
