Can not adjust sidebar zoom level

After the latest automatic update, I can no longer adjust the zoom level of the sidebar in Opera.

Specifically, the text size in the sidebar (where apps such as Slack are displayed) is fixed and cannot be zoomed in or out. I am not referring to resizing the sidebar width by dragging the divider, but to changing the UI scaling/text size within the sidebar itself.

I checked the browser settings, but the available zoom option only affects the main browser window and web pages, not the sidebar.

This issue is quite frustrating and has significantly affected my workflow, as I use Slack in the Opera sidebar throughout the day. The text is now too large, making it difficult to view the full Slack menu and window properly, and I cannot find any option to adjust it.

Could you please advise whether this is an intended change or a bug? If it is intentional, is there any workaround or setting to restore the previous sidebar zoom functionality?

@leocg That's correct, but I need it to be displayed at around 80%. Before the update, I could adjust it, but now I can't anymore.

@leocg When somethings change it is normal to identify the problem, make an inventory of the solutions and then implement the best solution. It would be good to know why the size of the sidebar was fixed, it renders it useless.

@AldoDekker If I remember correctly, people were complaining that change zoom also messed up with sidebar zoom.

Same here on Linux - Opera 135.0.5973.92, Linux Mint 22.3. Sidebar panel zoom is locked at 100% and nothing reaches it: per-site zoom on the panel's site does nothing, changing the default page zoom (tried 90% and 75%) does nothing, and removing the panel and re-adding it does nothing. On reload the panel shows the right zoom for a split second, then snaps back to 100%.

I use WhatsApp in the sidebar all day and need it around 80%, same as the Slack case above. Could this at least be made optional - per-panel zoom, or a setting to let panels follow page zoom again? Locking it at 100% fixed one complaint by removing something other people depend on.
