Hello Opera team,

Our Swagger Enhancer extension (id: oijceminmhbliakcfnkboccdobfimddd) has been awaiting moderation for an extended period. Version v1.0.2 was recently submitted and is currently awaiting review.

We hope this update can be reviewed promptly so Opera users can receive the same improved functionality already available to users of Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers.

Our extension Calcatom just got approved today after ~10 days.

Its become crazy
Only Opera addon store even didnt start reviewing addon after 1 month of request.
My Twitch Follows Viewer already published on other stores, but not here.
I even asked to send me github account to share source code (repo private and code written with ReactJS). And still no answer in Conversation... So sad...

Adding another data point: my extension (WebBrain, an open-source MIT AI browser agent) has been in the review queue for several weeks now, with no reviewer comments in the developer dashboard. I understand reviews are manual and thorough, and mine does request the debugger permission for reliable input in its act mode, so I appreciate that it needs a careful look. If anything in the submission needs clarifying, I'm happy to answer questions or provide documentation. Otherwise, would a moderator be able to take a quick look, or let us know whether there's a current backlog? Thanks for the work you do reviewing these.

It is very fun and disappointing at the same time to see posts from 8 years ago describing an issue, and then me coming here today still having it. In the past half a year, I have made quite a few updates to my extension. I had absolutely zero issues publishing them to both the Chrome and Edge extension stores. Meanwhile, my review submission for the first version of my extension is still pending here on Opera addons. I expected better to say the least.

Same situation with Hide My IP (extension ID okkpfaeofjkckljjlpnkclopjlgkdikf, package 250553). The published version is 1.0.38 from 2021, last reviewed in July 2022. Six updates uploaded since August 2024 were never reviewed, and a message in the Conversation tab in May got no answer. Auto-publishing is enabled. Today we submitted 2.9.4 (Manifest V3, JavaScript not minified, no remote code, no content scripts). Could someone from the add-ons team take a look?

Our extension (ID aoghjeonfkfhkldgoajobcepfjmdinff) is "only" waiting for around a week and after it was approved on Chrome and Firefox within just a few days, I was searching how long we can expect for Opera - so I was ending up here.

But looks like some extensions are waiting for years apparently, this is pretty ridiculous!

While the user base of Opera is not that big, I kind of liked that browser, so I thought we just submit it there as well.

But looks like we as developers should just consider Opera a "dead browser" and stop wasting our time with this here - what a pity!

Our extension ORYKSA AI Employees (package ID 306929, extension ID kkbemljknhignclecigdjhdfoeegcgnb, developer w8atlantic) has been waiting for moderation since 24 September 2026. None of the versions we submitted since then (1.0.18 to 1.1.80) has been moderated, and today we submitted version 1.2.36, which replaces all of them.

The same extension is already published on the Chrome Web Store, Microsoft Edge Add-ons and Firefox Add-ons. We have sent the test account and the review notes to the moderators through the Conversation tab of the add-on.

Could someone from the moderation team take a look at it, or tell us if anything is missing on our side?
