Memory spike issue

Hi,
I’ve recently started using Opera Air and I genuinely love the UI. It feels cleaner and more cohesive than Opera One, and visually it’s a strong direction.
That said, I’ve noticed a couple of things during testing.
With only a single Google tab open and no other applications running, RAM usage spiked to around 1,400 MB. It didn’t appear to be a constant memory leak, more of a noticeable spike, but it was still higher than expected for such a light workload. Under similar conditions, Opera One seems to use less memory on my system.
I’ve also noticed a small theme inconsistency: when using dark mode, the right-click context menu appears in a light/white style instead of matching the dark theme. It’s a minor detail, but since Opera Air’s UI is clearly one of its strengths, consistency here would make it feel even more polished.
System details, if needed:
Windows version: Windows 11 64-bit 10.0.26200 Build 26200
Opera Air version: 127.0.5778.66
Hardware acceleration onI’m sharing this because I really like where Opera Air is heading and I’d love to see the performance and polish match the visual quality.
Thanks.

Hi @parasite666,
Thank you for reaching out! We're glad to hear you're enjoying Opera AIR.
Regarding the RAM usage, please know that this is something we continuously monitor and work to optimize. You can expect improvements in the near future.
As for the inconsistencies with the dark UI, we are aware of it and working on it for some time already - we plane to release changes within the next few weeks. Stay tuned for updates!

Thanks again for your valuable feedback!
