Opera VPN Pro works on Android but desktop app does not open on Windows

Hello,

I have an active Opera VPN Pro subscription that I use on my Android phone without any problems.
The subscription is active in my Opera account.

However, on my Windows computer, Opera VPN Pro does not work.
I downloaded and installed the Opera VPN Pro desktop client, but the application does not open correctly and shows this error:

"Other instance of VPN Pro UI is running."

I have already tried:

• Reinstalling the Opera VPN Pro app
• Running it as administrator
• Logging out from all devices
• Making sure the VPN is not added in Windows VPN settings

None of these helped.
