Hi, my Opera One (125) on 25H2 win 11 stores about 3 dozen user name/pw combinations. They all work except for one! It never fills when I try to access webmail in one account but it does with another account. Is there a setting that I have missed?

@BrigitteDoris Have you checked password manger to see if non working webmail account is listed?

There also is a section in password manager settings that lists any declined sites and apps, have a look there as well.
I had a similar issue to you with a webpage and I believe I accidently must have clicked the wrong button when I entered the credentials to the webpage and found the webpage url listed in the declined area.

Yes, the non-working pw is listed in the pw manager.
No, it's not listed in the decline area.
It has worked fine for years until it didn't.

@BrigitteDoris Did you try removing it from the password manager and include it again?

@leocg I just tried that. Opera does not even store it when I type it in. It's no longer in pw manager.

@BrigitteDoris Maybe the page no longer allows using autofill?

@leocg Why would a page don't allow autofill but would allow me typing it in?
And, btw, It is my own website, I'm trying to access webmail, weed out the crap before I download it onto my mail client.

@BrigitteDoris Don't know why, but it's not uncommon.

@leocg "It's not uncommon". And where is the solution? A browser just tells me I have to type in login credentials because it does not feel like it, seriously?

@BrigitteDoris The solution is the page to allow using auto fill in the password field.

@leocg I followed your advice, deleted the login and Opera didn't store it when I typed it in. There is no "allow using auto fill" in the password field.

Link to the webmail login form page?

Does that username and password save and autofill in a test standalone installation?

Is this the link you are looking for?

I had no idea that a standalone install exists.

@BrigitteDoris Yes. If you right-click on the password field and choose "inspect element", you'll see that the site has autocomplete="off" set for the password field, which tells Opera not to save and fill it.

The site also has cert issues as in not secure, which might also affect saving and filling.

To work around the autocomplete part, you can install https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/autocomplete-control/obadmbiiipafnncogfkdfionggeckfia.

Once installed, goto the URL opera://extensions, click "keep" for the extension if asked and check "Allow access to search page results" for the extension. Then, click options for the extension and set it to "force enable autocomplete".

@burnout426 Thanks, found that "autocomplete off". Will check with the hosting company if they can set it to on.
