My opera keeps crashing every 3 min. ANd i have no clue how to trouble shoot.

Hi. Me too. I have had periodic bouts of crashing and restarting every few minutes over the last year and am fed up with it. I cannot continue to use Opera in this state and will drop it unless this is fixed properly.

Mine too. It started after there was a major change to the browser a few months ago and now it randomly crashes all too often which is making we want to find an alternative as I'm getting really sick of it!
Opera one - up to date version.

@eebee Same here Opera One is unusable with crashes and out of memory notifications. Been trash for a month now after working fine for 5 years.

Hello, did anyone found out what is causing these crashes?

It started for me on Opera One, now switched to Opera GX and still crashing.

What is wierd, I get crashes after precisely 20 minutes for some reason.

The crashes happening in a test standalone installation too?

If so, same thing with graphics acceleration disabled at the URL opera://settings/system?

Same issue with Opera started in safe mode?

I will test the standalone and the safe mod, but yeah, hardware acceleration was the first thing I tried. I will be back tomorrow with data on the other two options

1.turning off hardware accelerarion,
2.disabling the in-browser ad block extension was the trick (for me....it appears so far) Using ad-guard extension (a week in ......no problems)
3. i also set browser to take a dump upon closing....shutdown)
