Can you add a custom search engine to Opera? and if you can, how do you do it?

@bigdaddy034 You can add custom search engines in opera://settings/searchEngines
you can also right click on a search field on a page and use the create search tool

@leocg thank you for replying; I was able to create a custom search, but was unable to make it the default search; the option to make it the default is grayed out; I used this script
(https://www.google.com/search?q=%s&udm=14) to create a Google Search without using AI; the option to make it the default search engine is grayed out -

@bigdaddy034 Yes, it's known that Opera only allows predefined search engines to be set as the default one and it doesn't seem that they are planning to change that.
