unknown extension keeps redirecting me to an unknown browser,

My Opera keeps downloading this extension called "QuantumTachyonica", and when it is active it always redirects me to a browser called "Quick Shoppers". I always get rid of it when it is downloaded, but it always redownloads itself a month or so later. How do I permanently get rid of it?
this also happened with my Microsoft Bing last year, which is primarily why I switched to Opera, but instead of browsers it would just send me to random websites.
