Whenever i go fullscreen on a video even though it's loaded in it just starts showing the loading circl and stops playing, When i exit fullscreen the vid plays again. It's like this on every site so it's not the fault of the site i'm using. And the videos do play on other browsers.
Can anyone help me so i can watch vids on opera again.
      Thx

@CaptAD No problems playing videos on fullscreen here, both on Opera One and Opera GX.

@leocg So the thing happening on my end is that:
When I press the F key it goes into full screen mode but the video starts lagging and buffering. The audio continues to play but the video starts buffering (shows the big loading thing while the audio continues to play in the background.
On exiting full screen the video comes back to normal.

              My opera version is:
              CORE: 117.0.5408.162 (LEVEL 6)

Starting having issues around the time this post was made as well. Somewhat intermittent, but only happened after I updated opera gx recently to version 117.0.5408.213. Any solutions that have been found? I've disabled and removed ALL extensions and that didn't change anything.

                  Still happening, on 118.0.5461.50.
                  Is anyone submitting bug reports?
I'd think that such an annoying issue would be looked into a bit quicker.

I just today figured out what was causing it for me. Apparently having another window (not tab, window) open on anything that involves another video player (100% consistent with Netflix in second window) this issue happens. As soon as I close the second one functionality returned to normal though. Still only started happening with recent update.

I have the same issue. Is there any solution to this problem yet?

                        Looks like Lance was right!
I was able to get around this issue by closing all other windows while watching something fullscreened.
Turns out, I didn't even need to close out of the other windows- even just minimizing them worked.
In short, the current workaround is to minimize all other windows you have open.
