Here's a summary of changes in the latest updates.

LVL 6 (core: 116.0.5366.148) – 2025-02-20

Improved

• Smoother animations when highlighting tabs, addressbar and other elements in the top level UI.
• Plus button to add a new tab is sharper on non-high DPI screens.
• Sharper Google icon on start page.

Fixed

• SD effects were visible in Easy Setup and settings even if the feature was disabled.
• Multiple crash fixes and minor visual fixes.
• In certain situations tabs would be opened in the wrong workspace.

LVL 6 (core: 116.0.5366.118) – 2025-02-13

New

• Custom wallpapers got dedicated filter in Easy Setup.
• Chip in the Mods view shows how much GX is modded.

Fixed

• Advanced color configuration has the lightness slider disabled as it's not impacting UI color.
• In some situations video from another workspace could play audio in panic mode.
• It was not possible to select all bookmarks with a cmd/ctrl + a shortcut.
• And a couple of crash fixes and smaller tweaks.

• Switching to the default GX application icon in Dock would not work on macOS.
• Hacker view widget could end up consuming CPU when it was not visible.

• Optimised tab tooltips to be more efficient.

Fixed

• In certain situations static wallpapers would unnecessarily consume small amounts of CPU.
• Ensure that the audio indicator is visible on tabs, even if they are very narrow.
• Make sure the tab highlight doesn't blink when audio indicator keeps appearing and disappearing.
• When Twitch is disabled in Settings, corresponding extension will be unloaded.
• Task manager comes with the correct background color.
• Multiple fixes for crashes.
