How to Sync Old Saved Passwords on a New PC Without My Old Sync Password?

Hello,

I recently got a new PC and want to sync my saved passwords in Opera. However, I changed my Opera account password recently, and now the password manager is still asking for my old sync password to access my saved passwords. Unfortunately, I no longer remember the old password.

Is there any way to recover or sync my saved passwords without the old sync password? Or is there an alternative method to retrieve them?

I would really appreciate any help or advice. Thank you!

@nudewing Not possible as far as I know. You probably will need to reset the synced passwords or even all your synced data.

@nudewing If your old computer is still working, it would be possible to export all your old passwords to a CSV file, and then import them into Opera on your new machine. But to use Sync, you need the old password as your passwords were encrypted to that.
