Mobile Network Compatibility Problems on Opera Browser

Hi everyone,
I’ve been experiencing an issue with mobile data connectivity while using Opera Browser on different Philippine telecom networks, and I wanted to ask if anyone else has encountered the same problem.
I use multiple SIM cards from different providers like Globe, Smart, and DITO, and I’ve noticed that sometimes certain prefixes seem to struggle more than others when loading websites or streaming content on Opera. For example, when using a Globe SIM with a 0927 prefix, the browser sometimes loads slower than when using a Smart 0939 number, even though both have strong signal reception in my area.
What I’ve Noticed:
Different prefixes, different speeds – Some prefixes seem to have faster browsing speeds, even within the same network provider.
Data promos affecting performance? – Could specific mobile data promos or APN settings be limiting Opera’s compression technology?
Opera’s built-in VPN interference? – I tried enabling and disabling Opera’s VPN, and it seems to affect speeds differently depending on the SIM prefix in use.
Network throttling? – Some telecom companies might have restrictions or prioritization on certain prefixes, especially for heavy data users.
My Questions:
Has anyone else in the Philippines noticed network performance differences on Opera depending on the SIM prefix?
Are there specific APN settings that work better for Globe, Smart, or DITO on Opera?
Could the Opera Turbo or data compression be interacting differently with certain networks?
I’d love to hear your thoughts or any fixes that worked for you! Thanks in advance.

Internet problems often occur as soon as I turn on Opera VPN. Why does this happen?

@sherkhan23 Network or wifi? If you're connected to a hotspot, a lot of them seem to block the VPN - maybe they like being able to see what you're doing.
