I really want to like Opera 20

I desperately want to use the new Opera for my main browser, as it's faster and more compatible than 12, but there are just a couple of things that stop me doing so, and they are also what stopped me from ever liking Chrome. Do I have any hope with this wishlist, or should I just start getting used to firefox again?

A proper window title bar, like every other application.
I never understood why Chrome got rid of this, it breaks standardised look and feel, as well as many "always on top" apps like music players. -
Tabs on the side (optional)
I'd really like Opera 12's tab grouping stuff as well, but I'd settle for having tabs down the side. I have a widescreen monitor, and usually have 30-50 tabs open. Horizontal tabs bars are just stupid for this.
Surely neither of these is a major UI change?

This is the tendency now.

They are woeking on better tabs handling. I don't know if it will include vertical tabs but there's always a chance.

I don't know of any other programs that do this, other than browsers - in fact, I'd forgotten other browsers had this as a default setting, copying Chrome, because I don't tend to use them! At least Presto has a quick fix to revert to standard, why can't new Opera? It really is a deal breaker for me, along with the tabs.
