Default Currency

I use USD as my default currency but recently it was changed to CHF and I am having a tough time changing it back. I have verified the choice under

Settings |
Privacy Security |
and all the way to the bottom
Advanced|
Search pop-up |
Also English is my preferred language is checked too.

Is there another place ?

If you change the default currency to something else, does it work or still uses CHF?
