When I want to view a password and click on the corresponding entry in the password manager, the following prompt appears: ‘Enter your computer password to view the passwords saved by Opera.’ However, I do not use a password to log in to Windows, as you know there is an option to suppress this request. So what should I do to see the passwords saved in Opera?

@Retoreto Although you may not need to provide a password to login on Windows, you needed to provide one when you set up your system and your user.

That password is the one you need to provide to see saved passwords in Opera and in other Chromium based browsers.

@leocg Oh great. I do not remember that one. That was a long time ago and I didn't write it down because I thought I wouldn't need it anyway. Any tips on how I can find out?

@Retoreto Use nirsoft Opera passview to recover your lost passwords.

And try to remember your windows password - it may be needed sometimes.
