    Opera is not updating properly and doesn't sync bookmarks?

      I have 2 PCs, one at home and another at the office. The PC in the Office has always had a problem; I can't update the browser at all even though I examine the PC and reinstall the whole Windows, but it was always the same until someone told me to try something, which is to disconnect the PC from the office network and use a hotspot from my phone because in the office we use a different internet company from the one I use in my phone. After that, the browser got updated, which is very strange why Opera Browser in the office network doesn't get updated, but when I connect to a phone hotspot, it works. Why is this problem in the first place?

      The second problem was that after I connected from my phone and updated the browser, the bookmarks don't sync between the 2 PCs because my home PC has bookmarks not showing in the office PC browser.

      Any help in this problem will be appreciated.

          In these forums Opera people usually never respond - this is more like community thing.

          About your problem - it is possible that corporate network blocks unneccessary updates. No clue about syncing.

            @donq Sorry I gave up in the post; I didn't expect someone to reply. BTW, it looks like the issue is from the office network company because when I used my phone network, it worked nicely and was updated.
