[Duplicated]changing search engine to Startpage

What is the best way to use Startpage private search? When I install the browser extension, it doesn't update my search engine to Startpage in the address bar or the search bar on my home screen - still has Google there.

@gc90 As already said several rimes, search engine in start page/speed dial can't be changed.

@gc90 You can add startpage.com as a search engine and use key trigger to search on it.

Or you can just add startpage.com to your speed dials or set it up as your homepage as well. The same goes with every other search engine that doesn’t come preinstalled like Ecosia.

@mylighthouse812 Thanks for your hlep - I added Startpage to my speed dial and set it as default in my search preferences.

It's a much better search experience than the others.
