Hi all,
My machine A., Search engine default:
http://www.google.com/search?q=%s&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&channel=suggest
It is okay to search in my country language ( Chinese )
My machine B., Search engine default:
http://www.google.com/search?q=%s&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&channel=suggest
It is N-O-T okay to search in my country language ( Chinese )
As you can see the string are the same on both machines , any reason ( and solution ) to why the search result is different ?
The machine B search result is in " SYMBOLS " instead of Chinese. The way I make my search is type right away in the address bar as I set above as default search engine., so I do not need to type the 'g' keyboard prior to my search.
Thank you
Edmond.[Mod note: title edited to be more clear and easier to search]

Hi,
I am still unable to have my HOME OPERA copy to search in my language.
( when typing my native language in address bar (Big-5) , the google search result is consider symbols something like this: ?b )I am okay & able to have my OFFICE OPERA copy to search in my language.
Both setting the same as sgunhouse mentioned above.
in the problem machine at HOME , every of my custom serach engines are having the same ' symbols' problem., such as if I seach duckduckgo, google translate, yahoo...my other custom search.
What every I start type Big-5 in address bar, problem came.
Thank you!

Hi ,
I discovered when I type in the address bar in my Natgive language in my office machine, the google search result auto change to use the google in my Native area: ( www.google.com.hk)
I check again all my Opera search engine but they are not set to google.com.hk. but the below:
http://www.google.com/search?q=%s&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&channel=suggest
Is there other place I could reach in Opera Profile to see why Opera able to automatically switch to google.com.hk.
Because so that I can "copy " above to other of my Opera copies they can use this NATIVE language search.
Best regards Edmond.

I don't think it's Opera. I even set a dedicated Page on Facebook named "F*ck Google!".
