I just lost access to all my passwords

I saw a topic that looked like mine but not exactly the same.
So i lost access to all my passwords on opera sync because i just changed the password of my opera account after reinstalling my OS. I don't know if there is a way to get them back, I just know how many i lost of it which is kinda sad.

@sykoo78 Resetting your sync password resets all your synced data. Hopefully you saved a copy somewhere.

@sykoo78 If you just changed your Opera account password, you should be asked to provide the old one when logging in to Sync service.

On the other hand, if you used the reset your passphrase link, then all your synced data was removed form the server as said above.

@leocg yes it asks me my old password but i just lost it. Also it's the first time i hear about the passphrase. For now i did not reset but it's my only option i guess. It sucks. Thank you for the replies

@sykoo78 Since your synced saved passwords were encrypted using the old account password, Opera needs it to decrypt them.
