Syncing Opera GX and Opera under one account?

I use both Opera and Opera GX with a single Opera account.
In each browser I have different settings, workspaces and tabs.

If I turn on sync on both browsers, will they sync stuff from the other browser too or just stuff from the same browser?

I want each browser to sync with its own peer on another system.
I do not want Opera to sync with Opera GX and vice versa.

Any ideas?

@gem-i It will sync data from your Opera installations that are logged in using the same account.
