@ronbo2024 ah these are your own speed dials, ok.
But still, when the ads re-create i am pretty sure that the diverder line with ads will appear above your own speed dials. How long is it that you have deleted the ads?

@cska133 based on my reply to @andrew84, it is 15 days ago. I believe there has been updates at least once or twice between that day and today and so far, knock on wood, no line showed up.

i dont know what kind of updates you mind. These ads have nothing to do with updates, they are periodically pushed in by Opera. In which period i dont know, but sure we have to wait 30 days after, so 15 days more for you.
Anyway please write here back when these ads re-create and how the home page look after that

@cska133 Will do. Just to let you know, when I reported this, the version I had was 80.1.4244.77335. They have since sent version 80.2.4244.77484 and the version 80.3.4244.77596 as of Feb 8, 2024. Each of those added a shortcut for Walmart Business banner link. Which as you stated can show up as well even without the software release updates. I clicked the 'x' on the upper right corner of that advertisement and it's gone until the next push. In both cases no line was generated between my custom shortcut and the advertisement shortcut banner. I will take a screenshot next time it shows up and post it here.

@ronbo2024 You mean the horizontal line that follows after default speed dial tiles? If yes, this an intended (bad) change.

@cska133 That is interesting as I don't run into a similar issue you stated. I will try to paste a sceenshot here but the image option seems to be a link (not sure). Here is my screenshot:

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with a line on your home page while using Opera. One common solution is to try clearing your browser cache and cookies. If that doesn't work, you might want to check if there are any browser extensions or themes causing conflicts. Additionally, ensuring that your browser is up to date could also help resolve the issue.

@skyjasi Done that prior to posting this, ie: clearing cache and cookies. I don't use extensions or themes. Also browser is up to date which is the main cause of the line.

@ronbo2024 previously I was on Opera 79 after I upgrated to 80.3 last week. But I have not get this Wallmart ads banner. I think and hope it was only in 80.1 or/and 80.2.
And I also think that this Wallmart banner is somethning different than the speed dials advs. The upper placing is related to these advertising speed dials. So we have to wait till they recreate themself again

Well, today it was my turn finally. I also got banner ad from TUI.de placed upon the line and its ad speed dials (i have not deleted yet). So starting from version 80 we all are victims of Opera's forced advertising policy. The only hope is to wait that they force it back.

@skyjasi Yes, my screen shot shows exactly what I have. I thought you would have seen that as evidence by the sceenshot.

Another 3 weaks gone, are the ad speed dials re-created on the start page after you have deleted them earlier? Have you noticed it?

@cska133 No divider line or original ad banner. The only ad that will show up from time to time is the Walmart banner but all I have to do is close it.

@cska133 Wow, I found myself needing to login to Opera Forums and discovered I forgot my password, so I had to go through the motions of reset and login. In doing so, I also logged in to my Opera browser which I don't use to do. Now this is what showed up:

@ronbo2024 but i think this is because of the synchonosation settings in Opera, which is/was enabled at the beginning I suppose. So this tab shows the last moment when synchronisation was done. I also had noticed this on my start page and this is my explanition.
