Change "Start a New Discussion" form

We're seeing far to many posts in the wrong language group; now that I've seen what the "Start a New Discussion" page looks like I can understand why. A single dropdown named Category with everything in one long list?
The most obvious answer (if it isn't too hard with this software) is two dropdowns - one for Language and one for Category. Perhaps someone has a better idea, but the current setup is just too hard for non-English speakers to find the right place to post.

Maybe also the start new discussion should pre-load the drop-down with the last category you were looking at. So if you were looking in the German language page at Opera Mini when you clicked on 'start discussion', the discussion you start should already have that set in the drop-down as a default.

Having put my first new thread here into the Vietnamese forum by mistake because of this very problem, I heartily agree!

I think it is insulting to those whose first language is not English to expect them to read a form that is entirely in English.

It's goofy for the "Stat a new Discussion" to even ask you what category to post in. It should be the category you're in. Editing a post even asks you the category when you're saving the edit. That's funky.

That's so you can fix it if you realize you posted in the wrong place.
Ah, I see. Didn't realize that, but I guess it only helps if you notice within the short time you're allowed to edit. Still seems super weird when there could just be a direct move option.
The whole having to pick what forum to post in still seems super weird and silly when it should just be the forum you're in at the moment. Get rid of the list and do it like the old forums and there won't be an issue with the start new discussion feature.
I didn't test, but I'd hope that the top links at https://forums.opera.com/ would default to the language-specific forums for the language you have set (with option to adjust default language) where the rest of the languages (besides the one you have set) are at the bottom. If this is done right, there shouldn't be any issue with just starting the thread in the forum you're in. It's just so weird to ask. It should just be automatic.
But, ok, if things are going to stay like they are with one having to pick where the discussion is posted, I agree the current start new discussion page is ridiculous. Having the language as a separate drop-down would indeed be way better (with an option to either default to a certain language or default to the last used) where the localization of the forum names in the first drop-down changes (to solve Pesala's concern).

Noticed ... but you can't post in the Vietnamese forums (or move threads there) as they aren't in the list.
Thanks for reporting, looking into why this is happening.
