Prevent Opera from opening new tabs automatically

When I click on a link Opera opens a new tab to display the link. I want to stop that and have it display in the current tab.

@leocg Thanks for the reply. I just installed Opera on a new computer and it turns out that I was on a few websites that must have had their links setup that way (open in new tab) which caused me to think it was a general setting. But I later encountered other websites that did not open a new tab for each link. My bad.
