Selecting multiple tabs from both inside islands and outside and then
Ctrl+Wing them causes Opera to crashI was able to reliably reproduce this by creating 3 tab islands all with two or three speed dial tabs and one extra non-grouped one

Tab tooltip disappears when hovering over island handle
For context, this happens when you turn off showing pages from same domain on tab mouse over:
It should still show what is inside the island

Borders are the window title in disguise
This causes all sorts of problems, like moving the window and restoring it when you actually just want to use the scrollbar. There are a few ways how you can fix this:
- Make the border be a border (this will fix the issue for a restored window)
- Remove the 1px wall and bottom borders and bottom rounded corners when maximized (whis will fix the issue for a maximized window)
- Make the border be a border and make the scrollbar be triggerable on the border (this will fix the issue for both maximized and restored without changing the layout)

Speed dial bounces too much
It should immediately trigger the click instead of doing an irrelevant animation before it
Honestly, the highlighting when mouse over is fine. Still, in general, I feel like these animations are more fit for extensions than main browser behaviour

On dark mode, make the empty page before loading a tab be dark like
about:blankis.Every day when I open the browser, I get flashbanged by Opera every time I switch from a tab to another for the first time in the day

Tab preview should be smaller and rendered immediately below the tab you are hovering over
Like at maximum the width of 2 tabs
Hovering over tabs with this setting on is absurdly distracting. Even more when you have the setting for clearing the tabs you haven't been using to free memory.

The top right buttons aren't triggerable at the edge of the screen when maximized
This functionality used to work as expected on version 100. 102 misplaced them, then 103 put them back in place, but now they can't be triggered by the edge clicking like it used to (it's expected behaviour from any window on Windows)

Moving tabs too fast can bug the new tab button
(+)button gets misplaced when moving tabs too quickly
Restarting Opera fixes it.

Make it possible to collapse pinned tabs tab island
If you have more than 5 pinned tabs, it can lead to you not having a lot of space for temporary tabs

Make your new modular design actually modular
The idea here is being able to choose where to place these modules, like putting tab bar in the bottom, put sidebar on the right, etc.

@vizualblue YouTube is on a witch-hunt against ad blockers. Some still work though. Turn off the native ad blocker and install uBlock Origin. You may need to clear cache before for it to work

Revive and finish development of flag that allows for custom pages on sidebar
Other browsers like Edge and Yandex have this fully functional. Why not Opera? It's quite useful as you can see for the official support of sponsored websites like WhatsApp Web. Why not extend this functionality to every website?
