Why do I have to pair devices to get access to flow?

Why do I have to pair devices to get access to flow? Why make things unnecessarily complicated? Just make it so that when i sign into my opera account on any browser on any device, i get access to flow.

Most of the time connecting devices doesn't even work, and the pairing randomly just disconnects, and I have to connect again.

@tiikuri Flow was designed to directly connect a device with Opera for desktops with another device running Opera for Android, that's why.
It was created for users to be able to continue doing on mobile what they started on desktop and vice-versa.
