Opera repeatedly closing and opening

I updated my laptop and now I can't open Opera anymore. When I click on it, it opens and closes rapidly about 3 or 4 times. This happens on both Opera and Opera GX. I've tried reinstalling it multiple times and restarting my computer but nothing has worked. There was a similar post on here but the solution to their problem didn't work for me so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do. Anyone experience anything similar? Thanks.

Does it happen with a test standalone installation too?
What version of Windows?

@burnout426 sorry other apps stopped working as well so I assumed it was an issue with my laptop so I just did a hard reset. Thank you for being helpful!
