You can remove all of you installed extensions folders from "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Extensions" to see if that's enough to stop the loop. If not, you can try deleting everything in the "Sessions" folder. If that doesn't help, renaming your "Preferences" file will probably do the trick. But, if that's the case, you might as well just rename the whole "Opera Stable" folder and start over.
I think My Flow is crashing Opera for some users, so it might just be that you tried to use Flow and nothing to do with your installed extensions.
You can back up the whole "Opera Stable" folder first if you want.

@oddssatisfy There's no Flow in Opera Mini. Also I don't think it would help with Opera for Windows.

If Opera is repeatedly opening and closing, it could be caused by a number of factors. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
Check for updates: Make sure you have the latest version of Opera installed, as updates may contain bug fixes that could resolve the problem.
Clear cache and cookies: Clearing your browser's cache and cookies may help resolve the issue. You can do this by going to Opera's "Settings" menu and selecting "Clear browsing data."
Disable extensions: Some browser extensions can cause conflicts that lead to the browser opening and closing repeatedly. Try disabling all of your extensions and then re-enabling them one by one to see if any of them are causing the problem.
Check for malware: Malware can cause all sorts of problems with your browser, including causing it to open and close repeatedly. Run a scan of your computer using an up-to-date anti-virus program to check for malware.
Try in Safe mode: Try starting Opera in safe mode to see if the issue is related to a specific setting or extension. To start Opera in safe mode, hold down the Shift key while launching the browser.
Reinstall Opera: If none of the above steps work, you may want to try reinstalling Opera. This will delete all of your browser settings and extensions, but it will also give you a fresh start.
If none of the above steps work, it may be best to contact the support team of Opera for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose the problem and provide a solution.

As I embarked on utilizing the Flow feature, an issue surfaced. Each time I endeavor to launch the web browser, an "error" is promptly flagged. Evidently, this anomaly is intertwined with an extension; however, the speed at which it materializes impedes any attempts to disable the latter for diagnostic purposes.

Try clearing your browser cache in Opera's settings to see if it resolves the issue.

Sounds like an extension conflict. Try opening the browser in 'safe mode' or 'incognito mode' which usually disables extensions. From there, you can access the extensions page and disable them one by one to identify the culprit

Opera, the renowned web browser, exhibits a frustrating tendency of repeatedly opening and closing tabs. This vexing behavior often leaves users baffled and irritated. It disrupts the browsing experience, causing inconvenience and wasting valuable time. The problem might stem from conflicting extensions, overloaded system resources, or software glitches.
Users frequently find themselves trapped in a cycle of frustration, as Opera's tabs snap open only to abruptly shut down moments later. This issue underscores the importance of regular updates and troubleshooting to maintain a smooth browsing experience. Addressing this recurrent problem requires patience and technical know-how, ensuring that Opera's potential can be fully realized without the exasperating tab turmoil.
