Non-tech person here. Please provide step-by-step instructions or a link to how I may resolve this issue.

Fatal error upon loading installer executable:

The OS is Windows 7, Yes I know it's old and outdated... but it's the only one that I have that is working. and I am using it to learn how to fix 3 others that I bought 3-5 years ago. with windows 10 and 11 -

@leocg other topics? I really wouldn't even know how to begin to search the topic. Newbie at tech stuff. Typically just a user of computers.
I am interested in learning how to repair ( I have 5 laptops, none of which are working)
If you would provide some guidance as to where I can begin this journey, it would be greatly appreciated.
but that goes to repair, I believe this is some kind of software issue. -

@truenelsonai Then you should already know that Opera stopped supporting Windows 7 on version 96. So the last Opera version that you can install is 95.
